Step 1. Navigate to Binance

  • Log in to your account

Step 2: Go to your account settings page.

  • You should arrive there after login, but if you don't click on profile icon in the upper right corner and then click Account. The page looks similar to below.

Step 3: Go to API Setting

Once on the API Settings go ahead and create a new API key.

Step 4: Confirm API key via Email

After pressing create new key, you will get a web confirmation and email notification.

Note: The above key is just an example and not valid.

Step 5: Copy your API Key and Secret

Click Confirm and it will bring you to a screen that looks like this. Make sure to store the secret in a safe location until you've added it to Coygo. Binance only shows the secret once when creating the key so be sure to hold on to it.

Step 6. Enable Withdrawals if desired, and restrict access to your IP address only

Click Edit. If you'd like to be able to withdraw/transfer funds within Coygo Terminal you can check the "Enable Withdrawals" and then add your trusted IP addresses. (Note: Fake IP addresses are pasted below as an example). You could decide to not enable "Withdrawals", but you will get errors in Coygo when trying to transfer money out of Binance.  If you don't know your IP address you can simply google "What's my IP address" and it will tell you. Enter your IP address into the field.

Step 7: Enter the Exchange information in Coygo

Go to the "Exchanges" screen in the Coygo Terminal app and click "Binance"

When prompted for your API key and secret, enter the credentials that you were given by Binance. Then enter your Coygo password and click "Submit". If the API credentials are valid, it will be stored on your machine.
